Laboratorio DB
A searchable pharmaceutical catalog that gives healthcare professionals instant access to product data.

What we did
The Client
Laboratorio DB is a Salvadoran pharmaceutical laboratory with over 35 years of experience manufacturing and distributing medications across Central America. Their product catalog includes prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and specialty pharmaceutical lines.
The Challenge
Healthcare professionals and pharmacy buyers relied on printed reference guides and sales rep visits to learn about Laboratorio DB's products. The printed catalog became outdated as new products launched and formulations changed. There was no centralized digital resource where doctors, pharmacists, or procurement teams could quickly look up product specifications, active ingredients, or dosage information.
The Approach
We built a searchable pharmaceutical catalog with structured product data. Each product entry follows a consistent template with fields for active ingredients, therapeutic category, dosage forms, concentrations, and prescribing information. The search system supports lookup by product name, active ingredient, or therapeutic category, matching how healthcare professionals actually search for medications.
The Solution
The platform features a categorized pharmaceutical catalog with full-text search, individual product pages with detailed pharmaceutical data, therapeutic category browsing, company history and manufacturing credentials, a contact system for distributor and procurement inquiries, and a CMS that enables the pharmaceutical team to add new products, update formulations, and manage product categories. The site design maintains a clean, professional aesthetic appropriate for the healthcare industry.
Results
The digital catalog receives over 1,500 monthly product lookups. Healthcare professionals reported that the search function reduced product identification time from minutes to seconds. Distributor inquiries through the site increased by 25%, with procurement teams citing the detailed product data as the reason for reaching out. The pharmaceutical team updates product information within hours of regulatory approvals, compared to months for printed catalog revisions.
