The Client

Punta Mango Surf & Beachfront Resort sits on one of El Salvador's most remote and sought-after coastlines. The resort offers surf packages, beachfront accommodation, yoga sessions, and a farm-to-table restaurant, an experience that needed to be communicated visually and emotionally online.

The Challenge

The resort relied almost entirely on word of mouth and social media for bookings. There was no dedicated website to showcase facilities, explain packages, or present the restaurant menu. Potential guests had to piece together information from Instagram posts and third-party travel sites, often with outdated pricing.

The Approach

We designed a mobile-first website that prioritizes imagery and atmosphere. The layout uses full-width photo sections, ambient color palettes inspired by the location, and minimal text that lets the visuals do the talking. Each section of the resort (rooms, surf, dining, wellness) has its own page with a consistent structure.

The Solution

The final site features accommodation pages with photo galleries and amenity lists, detailed surf package descriptions with pricing, a restaurant section with menu downloads, a wellness page for yoga and spa services, and a simple inquiry form that captures guest details and preferred dates. The CMS gives the resort team autonomy to update room availability notes, menu items, package pricing, and gallery images as seasons change.

Direct booking inquiries through the website increased by 50% within three months of launch. The site's mobile experience (where 72% of traffic originates) loads in under 2.1 seconds. The resort reported that guests now arrive better informed about available packages, reducing pre-arrival email exchanges by 40%. Restaurant page views drove a 15% increase in dinner reservations from non-staying visitors.
