Durango
A digital product catalog that helps a bakery distributor reach new retail partners across the region.

What we did
The Client
Durango is a bakery product distributor operating in El Salvador and across the Central American region. They supply breads, pastries, and baked goods to retail stores, supermarkets, and food service businesses. Their product line spans dozens of SKUs across multiple categories.
The Challenge
The sales team relied on printed catalogs and in-person visits to present products to potential retail partners. This approach limited their reach, as they could only cover a fraction of the market. Product information (including new additions and seasonal items) was difficult to communicate to existing partners at scale. They needed a digital catalog that could serve as both a sales tool and a self-service resource for retailers.
The Approach
We built a clean, category-organized product catalog website with a focus on visual product presentation. Each product entry includes photography, description, available formats, and category classification. The information architecture groups products logically by type, making it easy for retailers to browse what's available.
The Solution
The platform features a categorized product catalog with search and filtering, individual product pages with specifications and imagery, a contact system that routes retailer inquiries to the appropriate sales representative, company information and distribution coverage, and a CMS that lets the team add new products, update descriptions, and manage categories without developer help.
Results
The digital catalog replaced printed materials for 80% of initial sales conversations. New retailer inquiries through the website grew by 30% in the first quarter. The sales team reported that prospects who reviewed the catalog online were more informed during meetings, shortening the sales cycle. Product catalog updates that previously required print runs now happen in real-time through the CMS.
