Global Wines & Spirits
A product catalog with store locator that connects importers, retailers, and consumers in one platform.

What we did
The Client
Global Wines & Spirits is a leading beverage import and distribution company in Central America, representing international brands including Bacardi, Grey Goose, Patrón, and dozens of wine labels. They needed a consumer-facing platform to showcase their full portfolio and help customers find where to buy.
The Challenge
The company's product portfolio spanned hundreds of SKUs across spirits, wines, and mixers, but there was no centralized place for consumers or retail partners to browse the catalog. Retailers frequently asked for updated product lists, and consumers had no way to find which stores carried specific products. The sales team was spending time on information requests that a good website could handle.
The Approach
We built a custom web application with a structured product catalog and integrated store locator. Each product entry includes brand details, tasting notes, category tags, and an image. The store locator uses Google Maps to display retail locations with filtering by product availability and geographic proximity.
The Solution
The platform features a searchable product catalog with filtering by category, brand, and type; individual product pages with detailed descriptions and brand information; an interactive store locator map with geographic filtering; a CMS for managing products, categories, brand partnerships, and retail store data; and a contact system for wholesale inquiries. The backend supports bulk product imports and retail location updates to keep the catalog and map current.
Results
Product catalog searches reached over 3,000 monthly users within six months. The store locator became the second most-visited page, reducing "where to buy" phone inquiries by an estimated 45%. The sales team reported that the online catalog shortened new retailer onboarding conversations, as buyers could browse the full portfolio before meetings. Product data updates that previously involved spreadsheet exchanges now happen through the CMS in under 15 minutes.
